That's right!

If you haven't already known, Windows 10 has been out for a little while now.

It is available for download as an upgrade from your existing Windows Operating System except for Windows XP which Windows ended their support April of last year.

Well, if you have a genuine copy of Windows, then you may reserve now and download Windows when it's your queue.

Just note that you only have a year from the date of release to reserve for Windows 10, once that expires, then you will have to buy a new copy from your favorite retailer just like everybody else.

There are two copies of Windows 10, that is Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro. Depending on the current version of your OS, you'll get either home or pro. For example, if you have Windows 7 Ultimate, then you get Windows 10 Pro or the other way around if you have Windows 7 Home premium then you'll have the Home version of Windows 10. You got the point.

Want to pin your Recycle Bin on your taskbar for easy access? Here's another tip for Windows 7 users out there...

Here's how:

From your desktop, right click on it and select New then Shortcut

And in that shortcut, key in "explorer.exe shell:RecycleBinFolder" (excluding the parenthesis)

Then click Next and you can type a name for this shortcut, whatever you want to name it

Then click Finish

From there, it actually created a shortcut which you can drag and drop to your taskbar but if you want to pimp it and change the icon, you may do so by right clicking on the shortcut that you've created

Then go Properties, and select Change Icon from the tab that pops out

There you can select different shortcut icons and look for the icon that's closer to a trash bin

After selecting it, just click OK, then Apply, and finally OK

Then finally, drag and drop it to your taskbar

There you go... you can access it anytime and enjoy!

If you need a new computer case or perhaps buy another one for your current set-up, well here's one for you. It's not that new I say because it's out in the market for several months already but I am reviewing this computer case since it's worth a penny, and you will never regret it.

This case is the Cooler Master HAF922. HAF stands for High Air Flow.

This is a mid-tower case with a full tower case capability I shall say.

It's got a lot of room inside, especially for the new video cards or GPU's that are coming out in the market.

It has a tool less design, wherein it uses thumb screws and a snap feature on their drive bays.

For cooling, it's got a 200mm fan in front and above the case, and a 120mm at the rear.

And not to mention it's high capability of having a good cable management.

There are a lot of themes you can use and it is easy to install.

First, just download the theme you want to install

After downloading it, you go to the destination folder from your download and run the theme

At this point, it should change the entire theme. Enjoy!

Here's the link from Microsoft:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/downloads/personalize

PcLoversTalk has decided to add this customizing theme segment for those users who had been using the free themes from Microsoft and are bored of it:

Go to the start menu, and in your search field, key in explorer and press Enter

The windows explorer window should appear and on the address bar, navigate to c:\Windows\Resources\Themes. You will need that in order to install the new customized themes.

Now, go to the website that I posted below.

Download the theme you want to install.

After downloading the file, go the destination folder from your download and unzip the file.

There are bunch of files on that zip file, open the folder that says Themes.

Now, copy those theme files inside the Theme folder and paste it on the address you've navigated earlier. c:\Windows\Resources\Themes

Now go back to your desktop. Right click on it and select Personalize. That should bring you to the themes you've installed or other themes available.

You can see there Installed Themes. This should be your newly added theme for that matter and all you need to do is to double click on it and you're done. Enjoy!

Yeah! You read it right. Microsoft Essentials which is the first legitimate antivirus from Microsoft that is for sure effective against different types of spywares and malwares according to different reviews. Anyway, just to give you a little background, this was released approximately 5 months ago which I think is not yet too late if I share it with you.
This is just a tiny little antivirus that won't eat up a lot of your space, it is compatible with Windows 7 so you got no problem there installing it and besides, it's got a 32 and 64-bit versions. One thing for sure that you will like about it is the fact that it is for free and I mean totally free. Here are the key features that Microsoft advertised.

For my comments:

Let me start with the good points first. I can say that it is highly overclockable, one example of a motherboard that has this chipset is the ASUS M4A89GTS PRO (above). Judging on different reviews with this board, it has lots of options for overclocking on the board itself, and another thing, with good airflow and third party coolers then you can still push this by overclocking the BIOS hassle free.

It supports the latest USB 3.0 which can run up to 6Gbps as suppose to USB 2.0 which runs only at 3Gbps.

Another good thing about this, is having a crossfire with the new ATI HD5850 with it's integrated GPU the HD4290.

It will also support the upcoming 6 cores from AMD this year.

One thing though, is that it is cheaper than you think. I will give you the link from newegg.com later on the page.

So far, this three features are the ones I like with the 890GX chipset. For the downside:

First thing, since it is the latest chipset to date, you must have the advantage of the latest DirectX 11 which it failed to consider.

With regards to its integrated GPU, so far, based on other reviews i've read, only the HD5850 is supported in crossfire with it.

I think, that's about it. So if you plan to buy one, I recommend this and go ahead, enjoy the power of the latest chipset technology from AMD.

Here's the latest pricing from newegg:
In the action center, there are different options that we do not need depending on your preference. So to disable some of which, here's how:

First, go to the start menu, when you are there, type in Action Center on the search field

Then, a dialog box will pop up

On the left hand side corner, select Change Action Center settings

You will see there, different options with checks, now, here's the catch

You now uncheck the options wherein you feel you do not need to be reminded of,

As for me, I did unchecked User Account Control from the Security messages

Windows Backup and Windows troubleshooting from the Maintenance messages.

Enjoy!

There are links that I will be posting leading you to download the tweaks that I will be sharing with you this second. These links are concerned in turning it ON or OFF.
This tweak actually adds up this neat little Advanced User Accounts in your control panel (User Accounts) so you can manipulate whatever advanced settings or options you want, like changing the password or creating a password and others.
Without further ado, I will now post you the links for you to download (care of pcwizkid):

http://pcwizkidstechtalk.com/downloads/AddAdvAccounOption.zip (This link is to add the tweak or ON. This automatically installs it to your registry hassle free)

http://pcwizkidstechtalk.com/downloads/RemoveAdvAccountOption.zip (This link on the other hand removes the tweak or OFF.)

How to use:

After you have downloaded the file, just unzip it using your favorite utility (winrar, winzip, and etc.)

Once you've unzipped it, just double click on the file and press Yes then OK.

Enjoy!

Although they are free yet they give you the basic virus protection you must have, like malware protection and basic internet protection.
This is for Windows XP users, I haven't tried it to other operating systems but it works on Win XP. So here's how you do it:

Right click on your desktop and create a new folder

Once you've done that, delete the name new folder

Then once you've deleted the name, hold down the Alt key

Don't release the Alt key yet, from your Number Pad (numpad), key in 0160 and release the Alt key

Now, you're folder has already a hidden name, to hide the icon of the folder, right click on the folder

Then go to properties

Then select the Customize tab which is the tab on the far right

Then you will see at the bottom part, Change Icon tab

Select it, and it will open the default icons

Now, scroll on the different icons and once you see a blank space (it's just like a space between the icons and you can see there three blank spaces that are in a column) click the top area

Once you've clicked it, it will select a blank icon

Then press Ok

Then Apply

Then Ok

Select the area where you've placed your folder and you will notice there the icon that you've created. You can double click on it and then save files on that folder.

If you want to delete it, just simply click the folder and then press delete.

I hope you will enjoy it and Happy Hiding!

Hi guys! Before I would like to present some tips, tweaks, or other reviews about Windows 7, it would be appropriate to introduce it to you, for us to have the basic knowledge, since the Operating System (OS) is still new in terms of it's release from the public.

To begin with,
Windows 7 was officially released to the public October 22, 2009. According to Microsoft, besides the usual availability of this Operating System, like those in Vista wherein you have from basic, home edition, professional, or the ultimate, it would also be available in a family pack multi-license bundle. This family pack multi-license bundle means that family members can copy win. 7 to several computers in their home.

For the system requirements to have this Operating System work, you must have at least, 1GHz CPU, 1GB RAM, 16 GB of free disk space and a DirectX 9.0c capable video card(an on board video card may do as long as it supports DirectX 9.0c). Now, if you plan to have the 64 bit operating system of Windows 7, you must have at least, 2GB of RAM and at least 20 GB of hard disk space.

Another thing I'm excited to share to you guys is that, windows 7 is currently running at DirectX 11. That means smoother and more realistic games.

As I explored it, it has this feature included which was not on the previous versions of Windows, the "Super bar". According to one author, he quoted it as "Super bar on steroids". The super bar has this feature that as you mouse over on the icons, it displays a thumbnail, just like that in vista's. But the thing here is, if you mouse over on one thumbnail, you can actually preview the content of the thumbnail that you are pointing and you can select the previewed thumbnail by double clicking on it.

Another feature is that, you can pin, or unpin icons that you want to appear or disappear on the super bar hassle free.

In this Operating System, you can manually change the User Account Control (UAC) as to your preference. It is found on the Getting Started tab from the start menu.

This also has a snap feature that when you snap worksheet or a dialog box perhaps to the right, it automatically place that box on the right hand side which is exactly half of your screen, and when you snap it on the left, it does the same. In turn, this would help you easily compare things as you want like prices on different brands of laptops or compare features of video cards perhaps. And whenever you want to set it back to full screen, just snap it towards the top and you're done.

Not to mention, it has neat themes that you can apply easily whether you want the basic or aero. Once you have the aero themes applied, it has this feature that it changes the wallpapers depending on interval you will set.

So much about the Pro's, I will share to you the Cons I encountered. It's just that, based on experience, you will have a difficulty finding applications that will support the OS which I think would be considerable at this time due to the fact that the OS is still new.

Generally, installing Windows 7 is no problem, it is very straight forward and it automatically detects your hardware and you might not need to install them because it works properly as if the drivers where installed.

Hello guys! If you are fan of having dual boot or tripple boots, then here's a tool for you to manage your boot-up. This is the EasyBCD version 1.7.2, it is the latest as of the posting date. This will allow you to change the name or title , sequence, or find the OS (Operating System) that you installed in your boot up. Take for example, you have Linux installed and you can't find it in your boot-up. Then, you can use this tool to help you locate it. It will scan the hard drive for any Operating System installed (e.g. Linux).

Mind you, this is a powerful tool that is not limited only to the above mentioned. So if you're not sure of what you're doing, then you might as well stay away with it to prevent any disaster.

I hope you will enjoy it, and here's the link for you:
For comparison purposes, you can change the latency to 9-9-9-24 and increase the voltage to 1.8 volts. So as not to confuse you guys, 7-7-7-20 is faster than 9-9-9-24, the purpose of doing this to allow you to compare it with other RAMs from Corsair, OCZ or Kingston.

To jump the gun, as for the DD3 Latency comparison results(which is at 9-9-9-24 and at 1.8 volts) this memory (Patriot G-series) has a result of 51.3 nano seconds, while Corsair XMS3-DHX is at 51.5 ns, OCZ AMD Platinum Edition 51.5 ns, and the fastest Kingston HyperX which is at 49.6 ns(all memory modules are at 9-9-9-24 except for Kingston which is at 9-9-9-27 and all are the same with 1.8 volts). In here, the lower the nano seconds, the faster.
